Each year, Croatia gathers the brightest stars of its tourism sector to celebrate innovation, authenticity, and excellence at the Annual Croatian Tourism Awards—a collaborative initiative by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the Croatian National Tourist Board, and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. This national recognition program shines a spotlight on those shaping the future of Croatian travel through sustainable practices, creative concepts, and standout visitor experiences.

Dubrovnik Hosts Croatia’s Ultimate Celebration of Travel Excellence

The awards ceremony will take place in November 2025 in Dubrovnik as part of the grand finale of Croatian Tourism Days, and will be broadcast live by Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). Awards will be presented in a wide range of categories that reflect various aspects of the tourism offer, including: Tourism Event or Festival of the Year, DMC Travel Package of the Year, Gastronomic Experience of the Year, as well as awards for achievements in sustainable, business, active, cultural, nautical, rural, and health tourism.

Special attention will be given to individuals in tourism – the prestigious Anton Štifanić Annual Award will be presented to individuals, companies, institutions, and associations. Other honors include the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Man–Key to Success: Employee of the Year award. The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the most desirable destination of the year and the presentation of the coveted Croatian Tourism Champion award.

Additional recognitions will also be awarded across a variety of categories. In nautical tourism, awards will go to the best large and small marinas and the top charter company. Other categories include Beach of the Year, Promotional Campaign of the Year, and Camp of the Year, with distinctions for both large and small campsites. In the Hotel of the Year category, accolades will be given to the best hotels in the luxury, boutique, heritage, congress, lifestyle, wellness, and family holiday segments.

In the Tourism Destination of the Year category, awards will be granted to destinations across several subcategories, including rural, city break, continental, coastal, island, and authentic seaside destinations. For the first time, the best local hosts from each county and the City of Zagreb will also be recognized, with one overall Best National Host to be named.

Applications for all awards and recognitions can be submitted via the official Croatian Tourism Days website until September 4, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
