Boškinac hotel, winery, tavern, and Michelin star restaurant were born out of a love for rock, salt, and wine, in line with the customs of our ancestors.

Location
Between pines, olives and vineyards
Boškinac boutique hotel is situated on the island of Pag, between Novalja and Stara Novalja, on a hill amidst the dense pine woods, at the edges of the vineyards and olive groves. Considering that it stands at the top of the Novaljsko Polje field, at the entrance to Zaglava – a traditional karst terrain for the grazing of sheep – the views from this lovely stone hotel and its terraces and gardens stretch out of the calmer and more relaxed side of Pag – a quiet and fragrant valley.

Each of the eight spacious rooms and three suites tells a story, and together they represent the island in its original environment. Equipped with carefully selected materials and handmade furnishings, their design is reminiscent of the island’s ethnographic heritage. However, the premium comfort is contemporary – every room includes an office corner, sofa area, mini bar, safe, satellite television and wireless internet, air conditioning, a Washroom with two sinks and a bathtub, and a hair dryer. Destination Tesla and other electric car chargers are available for the hotel guests.

Fine dining restaurant with Michelin star
The restaurant of Hotel Boškinac is known far and wide for its interpretation of traditional island cuisine, transformed in a creative, modern way. The restaurant respects the culinary heritage of the island, with a wide selection of fish and lamb dishes, cheeses, prosciutto and other fresh, seasonal ingredients, with olive oil, herbs and honey. However, these ingredients are served in a special way, with a pronounced artistic approach.
The Tavern
The menu features local specialties, and the ambiance is pleasant, with a rustic feeling. The relaxed atmosphere enhanced the experience of enjoying delicacies such as the world-famous Pag cheese, prosciutto, and salted anchovies. In our konoba, a symbol of the Dalmatian identity and culinary culture that celebrates local cuisine, only the best culinary delights and flavors of the region are offered, meaning locally grown, original foods in harmony with the Mediterranean culture of living, dishes from the grill, prepared under the baking lid (pod pekom) or in the bread oven.
Winery
The wine cellar has always been the backbone of the lives of the Šuljić and Boškinac families. The varieties of grape have changed over the years, wars have passed through the Novalja field – but the vineyards have left an indelible trace of survival, and the production of wine has been nurtured here for centuries. To remain on the rocky terrain, and to continue walking along the trails of our forefathers has been a constant in the life of this family, from granddad Boškinac to his grandsons.
