At just 23 years old, Gabriela Filca has bridged the path from the deeply rooted soil of her Lika upbringing to the dazzling heights of the culinary world as Chef de Cuisine of Nebo Restaurant & Lounge, a proud holder of a MICHELIN star. Raised in the mountain village of Prokike, in close harmony with the natural rhythms of the land, she brings to her work a strong ecologically responsible philosophy, transforming local, zero-waste ingredients into a refined dialogue between Mediterranean heritage and contemporary culinary technique.
As the carefully chosen successor to her mentor, Deni Srdoč, and recipient of the prestigious Young MICHELIN Chef Award 2025, Gabriela leads a dynamic team that celebrates the richness of the Adriatic through the lens of sustainability. In doing so, she affirms that the most profound and meaningful culinary innovations often begin with respect for – and integrity toward – the land from which they originate.
